The meeting was called to order at 12:16 p.m.
Betty lead the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the Invocation. Valerie led the Four Way Test.
Announcements
Betty announced Rotary anniversaries:
Allan Gilmore - 51 years - December 1, 1969
Joe Kumiega - 44 years - December 1, 1976
Jennifer Hyde announced that the Brown Physicians Group donated $1000 to the Boys and Girls Club.
Betty announced that we will not be doing the WinterFest this year.
Past District Governor Barry Clayman {Elise's father) was recognized at the Rotary Foundation meeting for his donation of $10,000 to the Roing something that will have a greater impact on the community.
Lori DiPersio reported on the Comedy Night plans. She said the goal is to raise $5,000 and the key is to get sponsorships. She said she would like to see 100 tickets sold. There will be round tables of 8-10 people. Raffle items are needed.

Valerie Perry - $4 for a day of happiness, starting off the morning with a swim at the Y
Betty Galligan -$4 had a great visit with her Mom at the Nursing Home; had a wonderful gig on Friday night; great to see all these faces and; the weather if very nice.
Pat Bettencourt - asking for prayers for her little sister
Tom Foley - $2 for the Patriots and happy September
Steve Propatier - $4 happy that the kids are back in school - picks up his grandson a couple of times a week in Westerly and takes him to the Y.
Steve Henderson - $2 for a great vacation and nice weather
Christina Sorensen - $3 for the nice weather and for her cute puppy
Lori DiPersio - $4 for the Pats; for a week of sailing; helped her sister move over the weekend; and getting peaceful on the home-front.
Ella Donnelly - happy to be here and glad summer is almost over, although sad because the Pawsox season is over.
Kara Caldarone - happy and grateful to be back and running a golf tournament on October 21 at Kirkbrae Country Club and looking for help and advice
Jennifer Hyde - $2 for the nice weather and for Ella, who might have a lead foot.
Will Francis - $5 for his St. Louis Cardinals, who are in 1st place; the Packers beat the Bears; he got engaged a couple of weeks ago; moving his office; playing in a tournament on Friday.
