President Renate Alexander
Renate gave us background on her interesting and stressful military wartime experiences, and how she credits a Rotary Guest Speaker, Brendalee O'Hara, for inspiring her to become an aide to several patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. Renate enjoys caring for these individuals as part of O'Hara Senior Care.
Rachel Sowersby
Rachel explained her role at Boy Scouts of America, and how Girl Scouts are now part of the organization. She covers all of RI, Southeastern, MA and one area of CT, and has a 10=month old baby at home. The offices and camps are currently closed, due to COVID-19, and she is working from home.
Lori DiPersio
Lori reviewed her nonprofit and fund development background, and is enjoying retirement as executive director of the Women's Resource Center, which is a domestic violence prevention agency. She most recently served as consultant to the Steamship Historical Society of America, a national organization headquartered in Warwick, RI. She is a past president of our Club, currently serving as Assistant Governor Coordinator and Area 8 Assistant Governor, and has been a Rotarian for many years, having joined with her late husband.
