While we are experiencing the uncertainty of each new day, it is important to know that we are not going through this alone. As astounding as it seems, nearly every corner of the world has been affected with Coronavirus. Everyday life as we knew it has been turned upside down, and we are not sure when and how long it will be before our lives return to normal - or will they?
Will we greet each other with a handshake or hug, or will we simply bow to each other? Will we become paranoid about keeping our hands washed and have sanitizer with us at all times?
What about the economy. Will we have jobs to return to and will the paychecks be enough to cover all our bills? Not to mention all the seniors in colleges, who not only will have no graduation to look forward to, but who may also have to move back home!
The only thing we can do is to take one day at a time, and make sure we are doing everything to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe. If you are able, there is ample opportunity to volunteer your time and talents to help those in need.
Tomorrow, our Rotary Club will be having its first virtual meeting, via Zoom.
Our Guest Speaker is Susie Berg, and the Zoom info is below:
