Virtual Meeting
President Renate called the meeting to order at 12:03 p.m.
The pledge of allegiance was recited by all participants.
Announcements
Steve Henderson announced that $300 was collected for the Covid response. Gift cards will be purchased for CNA and housekeeping staff at Linn Health & Rehabilitation and Winslow Gardens Assisted Living.
Betty mentioned that only a small percentage of members are signed up for Rotary.org. It is important for the members to get their information into the rotary website. If anyone needs assistance, please ask Steve Propatier or Lori DiPersio.
Guest Speaker
Today's Guest Speaker was Andrew Bailey, who spoke about the RYLA program. Andrew shared his experiences at RYLA, and said that before attending, he was somewhat laid back and didn't participate much.
He said the confidence he gained from his RYLA experience changed the way he does everything. After his first year at RYLA, he came back as a Student Leader.
Next year he will graduate from the University of Rochester, with a B.S. in Accounting. He plans to earn his Masters in Accounting from U.R.I.

Following Andrew's presentation, a video was played from Bailey Adams, a Senior at Seekonk High School. Bailey will be attending Stonehill College.
NEXT MEETING
Our next Rotary meeting will be held on June 8, 2020, and will be dedicated to hearing from those organizations our Club has donated to: Doorways, Tapin, and Aldersbridge Communities. Representatives from these organizations will be invited to join us, via Zoom, or by submitting a video message we can plear, to hear how they have used our donation.
