Each year, our Rotary Club designates a meeting as a "Million Dollar Meal".  The concept was developed by the Stoughton Rotary Club in 1959 as a way to give to the Rotary Foundation.  Our East Providence/Seekonk Rotary Club holds our Mlllion Dollar Meal twice a year, hosted by a local business, which includes a tour of the facility.  The cost of the meal is built into the dues, which is earmarked for The Rotary Foundation.  Usually Rotarians are asked to bring their own bag lunch.

The Million Dollar Meal held Monday, October 17, 2016, was held at the new University Medicine building on Wampanoag Trail.  Our host was Jennifer Hyde, Senior Administrator at University Medicine, who not only provided us with a tour, but also provided a delicious lunch, compliments of University Medicine.

The facility is beautiful and such a welcome addition to the City of East Providence.
